I just read the whole story today and I absolutely loved it! I liked the sex scenes too, because they felt realistic (this is not always required but really nice now and then!) and were hot.

Given that Jim is usually more primary in what I read (though I HAVE read some really great Winona fic before) it's interesting to see some of his traits in his mother, which really it's her traits we see in Jim.

Your Pike was really good too.

I also liked seeing all the assorted other pre-TOS characters and their relationships with Winona and each other.
