Being stuck in my own little hell of complicated, heavy, too-serious Pike writing, I've forgotten how wonderful fanfic can be. I've forgotten that it can be easy and still deep, flowing and still with edges. That it can be populated by complex people and still not feel like molasse to walk through.
Loved everyone here, loved especially Chris' little secret of adoring Winona back then, love all the many things that are alluded and never explained because in real life, things don't get all explained either.
There's hoping you'll write that sequel because I've got a big Recovering!Pike fetish and Winona is great and I want to see them growing through all that trouble to ride into the sunset.
